About
Cally Park CIC was established in 2026 as a central hub to promote and build on the achievements of Caledonian Park Friends Group (CPFG) and the many organisations that support Caledonian Park and its local community. We work with Islington Council, environmental specialists and heritage teams to showcase the park’s diverse habitats, ecosystems and often-overlooked historical assets.

Cally Park CIC exists to benefit local residents and the wider community by assisting in the activation and stewardship of Caledonian Park as an inclusive public space for arts, culture, heritage, and nature.
We design and deliver community events, activities, and projects that connect people of all ages and backgrounds, strengthen community cohesion, and support wellbeing and a sense of belonging.
Through our work, we champion fairness, sustainability, and inclusion, ensuring that cultural, educational, and environmental opportunities within the park and local are accessible to all.
Our activities celebrate, protect, and enhance Caledonian Park and its heritage for the long-term benefit of the community.

The ethos of Caledonian Park Friends Group (CPFG) drives our mission. CPFG is our main delivery partner, offering inclusive activities and volunteer opportunities for the community. These include planting and caring for trees, shrubs and plants; carrying out butterfly surveys; clearing litter; harvesting apples and sloes; winding the Clock Tower; and maintaining pond habitats. Our resident wildlife expert, Amara, calls the pond work “Spa Days” and insists that wellies and gloves are for city folk.
If it benefits the park or the community, we are ready and willing.
We meet every Wednesday and Sunday at Tolpuddle Café 10.00 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Everyone is welcome to attend, we provide gloves and tools, a friendly chat and often tea and biscuits too! Support/Contact Us
