Where it is/General info: The PlayZone can be found in the southwest corner of the park. There you can find our full-size outdoor basketball court, netball court and football pitch. This is a multi-use games area. The facilities are designed to provide a versatile solution to the requirements for several games.
The Playzone has a macadam (tarmac) playing surface, pitch markings of multicoloured, overlapping lines to define the different courts, integrated equipment including 2 x goals, 2 x sets of hoops (set at 2 different heights). Additionally, the area has floodlighting and seating so twilight games in front of adoring fans are not a problem.
What Plant/Tree life to look out for: Afraid not much to see here. It won’t be much fun hooping and balling over trees.
What Insect/Bird/Animal life to look out for: Afraid not much to see here. Feel free to send us pictures and let’s see who else likes the game.
Things To Do
The PlayZone is free to use and cannot been booked.
Play Made – If you don’t have your own equipment, no problem you can use the ones provided on site.
Projects
London Borough of Islington – The refurbishment and upgrade of the PlayZone has now been completed.
